About Futsal

How did players such as Messi, Coutinho and Marta from the women’s game develop their technique and skills to turn them into world beaters? What did they do as young players that provided them with the ideas and tricks to become great players? The answer is Futsal…

Futsal is a format of small sided football which places players in situations where they must receive or play whilst under pressure or in confined spaces, while the game demands a high level of technique, movement, tactical awareness and fitness.

Each session lasts up to an hour and a half and works within our 5 ball cycle which includes the following:

  • Pre-training activities and warm up
  • SAQ and movement
  • Technical practices
  • Opposed practices
  • Small sided games
